Ha már "all mountain", akkor nekem az õ véleménye a mérvadó:disznek szánom
amugy all-mountain az igazi fajtából. 13 kiló alatt ugye minden bicikli all mountain ami többet mozog mint 120mm.
"I think there IS a difference between trail and all mountain. Just as there is a difference between the Spot and RFX, don't know if anyone cares but it does influence the way I design. The Spot is mostly a pad free ride. Sure lots of guys pad up on the 5 Spot over the years, but most never have. I rarely run a seat QR on it, I can usually get plenty far off the back for 160 rotors and 2.3s to control the 5 Spot. Seat about level with the bars and lot and lots of climbing at or near AT pace is something that is fine. On a good day a Spot rider can match the Flux rider for a good part of the climb. The RFX IS all mountain.
Pads galore, drop the seat, floppier shoes, return to hit a flailed section over and over. To ride it is to own the section. Sure climbs are part of the deal, and lots of vert is OK, but when someone on a Spot or a 575 clicks it up a gear, the All Mountain rider says,,,, dude my bike is 33 lbs, later. Of course later said AM rider smokes the afore mentioned trail bike on the descent. and of course a smart Spot or 575 type rider lets the AM rider go with the seat dropped to the frame, pads scraping the foliage and bigger stickier brakes tires and shoes to take care of the rider."
