Chumba Evo Plush, very good pedaler, stiff, extremely dialed geometry except for the seat tube angle: with the seat post extended for reasonable pedaling the seat ended up in the most rediculous position. I ended up about 4 or 5 inches behind KOPS. Very odd. When standing to pedal or coast the bike rode very well, but as soon as you sit down, the rear of the bike just falls away and squats like a full blown DH bike, and suffered all the associated climbing issues. None of us could figure out what the point of the seat tube arrangement was. It basically ruined an otherwise excellent riding bike.

Niner R.I.P.9 A very fast bike. The handling is excellent. It cornered extremely well and just blasted through rock gardens. It exhibited excellent geometry and pedaling manners. Some of the guys in our group mentioned that the bb seeme low and they suffered pedal strikes. There was no hint of lethargic handling. It was a bike that seemed like it would have ridden well even with 26" wheels, but only improved with the 29er hoops.

Mountain Cycle Fury We rode one of these last year, and the rear end flex was incredible. The model this year was far more laterally rigid. It still suffers from the stuff that bothers me about high/forward single pivots: suspension stiffening and pedal feedback under power, and noticeable stiffening under hard braking. Climbs over rough bedrock made the rear end bounce and lose suppleness. The biggest disappointment was the Zoke All Mountain SL though. It was nothing short of atrocious. It was not a matter of not being broken in. The air pressures must have been so far off that it rode like your typical Manitou Minute. Barf. Had the bike been more inspiring we may have taken the time to investigate what was up with the fork. Oh well...

Knolly Delirium Despite being a size large, the bike felt a lot smaller than last year. With the saddle dropped, the bike feels extremely short. A lot of bikes allow you to drop the saddle and still pedal to some degree, but with the extremely shallow seat post angle, the cockpit gets pretty tiny. It really felt a lot like a Highline in execution due to the cockpit size and nature of the fork. The Highline allowed better pedaling with the saddle dropped though. The pedaling manners are very good, and the bike is plush overall, but I think even my 6-Pack accepts the 66SL fork better, or I should say that the Knolly feels more FRish with the 66 than my 6-Pack does, so it depends on what you are after. The Delirium feels similar in weight to the Highline, and as I like the handling of the HL a bit better and it takes big forks a bit more pleasantly, I would go with the HL if I were in the market for a bike like this. The machining and finish work on the Knolly is second to none, however, and with another fork and a bit more of a trailbike dress, it would be as well received as it was by us last year. The bike just felt like the HL and Devinci Ollie in cockpit and handling, so that is what I have to compare it to. It felt nothing like my 6-Pack.

Norco Six Not a bad bike, but a bit bouncy and seemed to get hung up on sharp edges. The Zoke was a weird OEM "Z1 Light" that lacked every possible tuning feature except rebound. It did not feel that great. The bike pedaled well and the geometry was stable and so descending was pretty confident, but the bike felt sorta short and cramped overall so flats and uphills were less fun than downhills. The rear end seemed to compress in a linear way with a nice ramp-up at the end, so was pretty well suited to the DHX Air it sported. Good rig, not great. Needs a better fork. The Panaracer Rampage tire on the rear did not distinguish itself in any way.

Turner Highline Probably the bike we could agree on as "best in show". The new kit Turner put on the Highlines really brought the bike alive. It pedals, it climbs, it descends, it does it all. The Totem compliments the bike perfectly, and the handling is spot on. Everyone commented on how well it pedaled and handled. This bike brings the "big-bike" genre to a point that a lot of us who were not into that sort of thing can now understand. It is balanced in the way all Turners are. The Totem is very stiff, smooth, and capable (coil version). The Code brakes need some serious bedding in, but were smooth and quiet. The power needs help, but that is probably a break in issue (though we rode the Highline twice today, and even late in the day the power was ho-hum). NOTE: All Highlines at Interbike were apparently built with the shorter 8.5" i2i shocks and the resulting 7.2" travel and lower, slacker geometry.

Eloben megrondabb.
Nekem teccett az a kék változata, ami Schladmingban volt látható ebbõl a GT DH bringából és örülök neki, hogy azt az idióta iDrive himbarendszert (középrész a hátsó lengõkar része, tehát mozog a középrész a váz farával, változik a középrész és a nyereg távolsága rugózás közben) végre kidobtak újra 1 normális himbarendszerû gépet újra.
