Thanks, that is very helpful. Just created a GPSies account, and already discovered a couple of promising routes around Eger. Did a quick scan of Strava too, but that seems to be almost exclusively on-road routes.

 

Some more digging by myself gave me this site, also quite interesting. Though not much around Eger, it triggers me to maybe ride a bit further round the country:

And bikemap.net delivers some result too, even though not sure if it is mostly just unpaved roads or proper MTB trails:

Your best bet is probably Strava. There are some tracks on gpsies.com too. Other than that, you could ask at local bikeshops, visit a race in the neighbourhood and ask people, check out local sport clubs.

 

I know of one very good MTB specific rideplanning site in Hungary: ridebalaton.hu

BTW, they use OpenCycleMap, might be interesting to look at too.

I am from The Netherlands, and I am trying to find out if there are interesting Mountainbike Trails in Hungary. As I do not speak Hungarian, it is hard to find information on the internet, so I hope I can get some help via this forum :-)

 

I am looking for offroad trails, mostly single track, preferably (but not necessarily) in the region of Eger, and preferably signposted.

 

Is there a website, or maybe an app that gives an overview, information, and reviews?
